Running

Running with the Baby Jogger Today was a great day. It was finally cool enough to run outside and push the Baby Jogger. With Arizona being so hot, my summer running consists of going at 5:30 or 6:00 in the morning or hitting the treadmill. So, my running stroller has been collecting dust all summer. Finally, this morning after all the kids went to school it felt like fall was in the air. It was probably 80 degrees at that time, but it sure beats 100! I think the high today was about 95, but it's nice to be in the double digits again. After about an 1 hour, I was still dripping in sweat and a little sunburned , but we had a great run.
The twins love the running stroller. I just throw them in (they don't even need shoes), bring some snacks and juice boxes and they have a great time. I've had my double jogger for almost 9 years. I've run hundreds of miles with it, and it's not as nice as the newer models, but it's still holding up.

You are awesome! Did you run while you were pregnant? I had plans to but then they just kind of went out the window. :)

You must have herculean strength to run with a double jogger with 2 preschoolers in there. I can barely run with my single jogger and only a 15 pound baby in the jogger. You are awesome. Are you still running marathons?????

You are so good. I was just thinking how this week was so nice all morning. I hope it stays this way and I might just have to get out there too.

I can't believe that it's so hot there you CAN'T run outside. I'm glad you were able to dust off the jogger. I sold mine finally. I was kind of sad about it. Molly doesn't love it when I take her out running. I think it's because there is no one to talk to. Meg and Ben were like your twins. They loved it.

I just love to see those two. They look so much like Chase and Mia. I miss you all.

Holy Cow Julie, how do you do that??? I just ran my first half marathon and I had to take Owen and Hallie in the double stroller a couple of times while training and I could only make it a couple of miles. Too many hills, and toooo heavy. You are super woman. Are you doing the Boston this year? I have a few friends here that are doing it. If so, good luck and I'm sure you'll do great as always. Your family is so sweet. Enjoy the heat because it is already getting a bit chilly here.

You are my hero. I wouldn't run across the street even if I was about to get hit by a car!

An hour? While pushing 2 three year olds? You are amazing! I think my kids would probably kill each other if they had to sit next to each other for that long, your lucky they enjoy it so much. You are my hero :)

You are so impressive!!! Will you run a few miles for me? I want to count the calories I lose from the running though....oh, I wish it could work that way. Your body is a machine...so completely amazing.
Love that you have the same sturdy stroller for 9 years and how many miles you have on it!

Only you Julie would have the stamina, strength and engery to not only run FAST but push 2 not so tiny kiddos in the stroller too. Amazing!

I can't wait to follow you in Boston. We had a ball last year watching the live updates. I had 2 friends from back home and one guy in our ward run it. It was a blast.

Glad it's cooling off. Yesterday was the first day it actually felt a bit like fall. I think I'll have to pull out the Crestwood Ward Cookbook (my all time favorite) and whip up some yummy soup and bread to celebrate. Too bad Rich is on call so he won't get to enjoy it while it's hot.

MISS YOU!!
