After 11 years of always having at least one kid with me, Tanner and Riley have started preschool at Shining Stars with Miss Nicole and Miss Melissa. They love it! It's only 2 mornings a week for 2 1/2 hours, but those 5 hours are precious! It's amazing how much you can get done in 5 hours each week when you're not hauling twins with you.Yes, Tanner and Riley really are twins even with the 6 inch height difference!
On the first day of school, they went with their friend, Lilee. The twins love going to preschool with her. They love it when they see her black car pull up to preschool.
Riley with her pink princess backpack!
Tanner used his Thomas the Train backpack for a couple days until he realized it wasn't big enough to put his papers in without bending them, so now he uses his new Lightening McQueen backpack.
They act and behave like a married couple. I just wish Tanner could grow a few inches!
Riley walked right into preschool and said, "Bye Mom" and didn't even care that I was leaving.

Tanner was a little more cautious, but had a fun first day. I'm not ready for the twins to go to school all day. I think I'll have a hard time when they actually go to Kindergarten, but having a little break for preschool is good. They have been with me nonstop for 3 years

My dear FRIEND! The one about the twins being a married couple was hysterical, and the height difference too. Gotta love that. I'm really loving you on the blog. Tell the hoist master to post something too....and nothing short of hysterically funny will do!
See you on Sunday.
AHHHHH! How the heck did those kids grow so fast! I cannot believe it. They are too cute. Riley looks just like Mia to me, of course Tanner is a copy of your boys. Miss you...
Julie yay now I can stalk you on blogger too! I hope you don't mind me adding you to my blog friend list. Send me your email address and I'll send you an invite to my blog if you are interested!
Seriously, your kids are so grown up and I just can't believe your twins are in preschool. Where does time go???? You all look fabulous and sounds like your are doing fabulous as well, so glad. Tell Matt hello for us.
Hey Julie! Carson talks about Tanner and Riley all the time...Tanner because he's a boy to play with at preschool and Riley because he thinks it's funny that her name is the same as his sister Rylee
Awww! How cute they are. Tanner looked sad that you were leaving him, he must be a mama's boy.
Julie your blog is so cute! I love all the pictures of your kids! Does Tanner look like a mini Matt? I always wanted boy and girls twins. They are adorable! I'm going to call you so we can plan getting together!
Hi
I was cracking up when you said they acted like a married couple. Andrew and Sydney do that too! It just gets more noticeable the older they get. I swear they fight like they have been married for 10 years.
Enjoy your little glimpses at freedom...
btw- LOVE your hair-- you look so beautiful in all of your pics!
I didn't realize how much of a height difference there really is! They are too cute and the "married" picture is killing me! I'm glad you're finally able to enjoy some "me" time after 11 years-wow!
That is so funny that they act like a married couple! How sweet! You have to love those 5 hours of alone time...you deserve it!!:)
Love it- I am starting my blog this week and I will post all my pix. They are soooo cute!
So glad our kids are in preschool together! Dont you love Tuesdays and Thursdays? Im willing to pay double to have her keep them the whole day - you? No, its great to have that 2 1/2 hours though.
Oh yay!! I bet you are loving that free time! and you certainly deserve it. My comments are so unoriginal but I love the married couple picture, they are adorable! its about time you started a blog Julie! ;)
Hi Julie, long lost friend. I found you through Nichole's blog.
1. you looked awesome, when you were pregnant with the twins.
2. Can't believe you had to deliver both ways.
3. Your kids are adorable.
4. How is life in sunny AZ?
5. Hopefully I can see you one of these years.
6. Now I am excited because I can feel like I am in touch with you by reading your blog, even though we are far away.
Hey, strangers. Not a stalker, just found you guys through Jen G.'s blog. Wow, I can't believe how grown up all of your kids are. I vividly remember when the twins were born. I was jealous because I pretty much delivered Andrew both ways, but only got one baby our of the deal.:) Good to see you all are doing well. We settled in Denver and our blog is coloradooldroyds.blogspot.com if you feel like snooping when you're 5 kids aren't keeping you busy.
So cute! Good thing for all those Shining Stars!
Oh Julie! Thanks for the heads-up email about the preschool post. First of all, I didn't even know you had a blog! I mean I'm totally new to this blogging thing myself but geez- I thought we were friends. Just because you're not in YW anymore doesn't mean we can't be friends! :) Lilee absolutely adores "Tannah and Wy-wee". She asks every single day if she gets to go to preschool that day so she can see them. Love it!
